The Cloya manual

Cloya is bimover's cross-platform review and PDF workbench. You mark up, measure, edit and share plans on Mac, iPad, in the browser and on Windows. This manual describes Cloya from the first review room to the finished fire safety plan.

Getting started

First steps From opening the app to your first markup on the plan, in five minutes. The interface Where the toolbar, sub-palette, inspector and sidebar sit, and what each is for. Documents & cloud Opening PDFs from iCloud, BIMcloud, SFTP, WebDAV or SMB. And how markups travel inside the PDF itself.

Tools

Marking up & commenting Pen, text, revision cloud, stamp, and the eraser that thinks along. Measuring & quantities Calibrate the scale, measure lengths and areas, count items. Dimensioning follows SIA 400. Editing the plan Reaching into the PDF itself: text, images, layers, redaction and colour adjustment.

Working

Quantities & reporting Assemble quantities, structure them by trade and NPK, place them on the plan as a legend, and deliver them as CSV, Excel or CRBX. Pages & organisation Sort, duplicate and delete pages. Overlay two revisions of the same plan. Working together Teamwork links with end-to-end encryption, Microsoft Teams and Handoff. Site documentation The documentation camera, defects and tasks, fire safety and escape route plans. Signing & archiving Handwriting, seal and qualified signature — and what a document needs to still be verifiable in twenty years.
